Managing tickets and pricing

In-person and virtual competitions use tickets (one per distance or category) with optional tiered pricing.

Path: Open competition → Tickets

Requires at least one published payment channel.

Enable tickets #

Competition settings must have tickets enabled. The ticket list is empty until you create tickets and prices.

Create a ticket #

  1. Tickets → Add ticket
  2. Set:
    • Distance — links ticket to a competition distance
    • Age rangefrom_year / till_year for age-group tickets
    • Status — draft or published
    • Order — display order at checkout
    • Description — shown to participants
    • Emergency contact / billing phone — optional required fields
    • Bulk discount — allow quantity discounts
  3. Save

Set prices #

Open a ticket → Prices tab:

  1. Add price rows with amount, currency, start/end dates (early bird windows)
  2. Multiple active prices create time-based tiers automatically
  3. Free tickets use price €0

Sold tickets #

View registrations per ticket under competition → Sold tickets (Finance area). Use Export XLSX for spreadsheets — Purchase summary. Ticket scanning: Mobile ticket scanning for organizers.

Race-day tickets #

Create separate tickets marked for race-day registration — see Race-day registration and check-in.

Copy tickets from another competition #

When you run a series or repeat the same distance setup each year, copy ticket definitions instead of recreating them:

  1. Tickets list → Copy tickets
  2. Select a source competition in the same club (sibling stage or previous edition)
  3. Confirm — distances, age ranges, and price tiers copy to the current event

Review copied prices and registration dates before publishing — early-bird windows do not shift automatically.
