Event regulations and consent

During registration you may need to accept event regulations, privacy terms, or custom consent checkboxes before your entry is confirmed.

At registration #

Common items:

  • Competition regulations — rules, cutoff times, disqualification grounds
  • Liability / participation terms — standard DistantRace or club-specific wording
  • Marketing consent — optional emails from the organizer (separate from DistantRace system mail)
  • Health or age declarations — self-certification for minors or medical fitness

Required boxes must be checked to complete registration. Optional marketing consent can be declined without blocking signup.

Where organizers configure this #

Organizers attach regulation text and questions in competition or challenge settings — see Competition settings reference and Challenge settings reference.

After you register #

  • Re-read rules on the competition Info or Overview page
  • Contact the organizer if regulations changed after you signed up
  • Marketing preferences may be updated under Notification preferences where applicable
