Recording activities #
- Step challenges: carry your phone or sync your watch; steps update automatically.
- Sports challenges: record workouts in your connected app with Start/Stop.
- See Why activities are missing if data does not appear.
Results hidden periods #
Organizers can temporarily hide the public leaderboard. You can still view My result during hidden periods unless the organizer blocked that too.
Activity backfill #
When you join mid-challenge, activities you already recorded inside the challenge dates may appear on your result shortly after registration.
First-sync reminders #
If you have no connected app or no synced activities, DistantRace may email you reminders with links to connection guides.
Next steps #
- Participate in a challenge — full registration flow
- Challenge onboarding page — setup help from the organizer
