Managing your account settings

Your DistantRace account settings cover login details, profile data, and security — separate from saved participant profiles you use at checkout.

Path: Log in → Profile / Account (/accounts/)

Edit profile #

Profile (/accounts/profile/) — update your connected participant:

  • First and last name
  • Birth date and gender
  • Phone and address fields
  • Profile photo (upload JPG or PNG)

Email on this form follows your account login address — change it under Email (below).

Change email #

Email (/accounts/email/):

  1. Add a new address if needed
  2. Verify via the confirmation link DistantRace sends
  3. Set the verified address as primary

Your participant profile email updates when the primary login email changes.

Change password #

Password (/accounts/password/change/) — set a new password when you signed up with email and password.

Social-only accounts may use Set password first (/accounts/password/set/) to add a password alongside Google or Apple login.

Connections (sports apps) #

Connections (/accounts/social/) — connect or disconnect Garmin, Polar, Fitbit, and other supported apps.

Organizers need 2FA enabled for manager console access.

Delete account #

Delete account (/accounts/profile/delete/) permanently removes your login. Read Delete your account for prerequisites (withdraw from active events, unpaid carts).
