SendGrid
SendGrid
SendGrid lets your club send transactional email (registration confirmations, join codes, login codes) from your own verified sender address instead of the default DistantRace sender.
Connect SendGrid #
- Create a SendGrid account and verify your sender domain or single sender email.
- Create an API key with Mail Send permission.
- In DistantRace: Club settings → Integrations → SendGrid → Connect.
- Enter:
- SendGrid API key
- From email — must be verified in SendGrid
- From name — display name (e.g. your event brand)
- Save — DistantRace validates the key against the SendGrid API.
What uses SendGrid #
When connected and valid, SendGrid sends:
- Email templates (registration, results, join codes, marketing)
- Join code invitation emails
- Login code emails
Configure templates under Marketing → Email templates.
