Transferring your registration to someone else
If you cannot start a race but the organizer allows transfers, you can replace yourself with another person on the same registration slot.
When transfer is available #
The organizer must publish a Participant Replacement product for the event — see Upsell products in checkout. If no transfer option appears, contact the organizer — Contact the organizer.
Transfers are usually limited to a date before the race and may charge a replacement fee.
How to transfer #
- Open My events → your competition → registration detail — My competition registrations
- Choose Replace participant (or open the replacement flow from your order)
- Enter the new participant's details (name, birth date, gender, contact fields)
- Pay the replacement fee if the product has a price — My purchases and orders
- Confirm — the new person takes your bib, distance, and answers; your name leaves the start list
If the replacement is free, the swap completes immediately after you submit the form.
What changes #

The new participant does not need your login. They may create their own account later and link a participant profile if the organizer sends a connect link.
