Competition distance sync mapping

When importing results from timing files or URL sync, external systems use their own distance identifiers. Map them to your DistantRace distances so finish times land on the correct category.

Path: Competition → Results → Import → Distance mapping

Add a mapping #

1. Open distance mapping under Results → Import
2. Select your DistantRace distance (5K, marathon, etc.)
3. Enter the external ID or code from the timing export (see provider documentation)
4. Save

Repeat for each distance in multi-distance races.

Without mapping #

Unmapped external rows are skipped or placed in an import review queue. Always map before the first live sync on race day.
