Competition settings reference
Open Settings from a competition dashboard. Virtual and in-person races share most sections; some differ by competition kind.
Base settings #
Path: Settings → Competition

Event Customization #
Path: Settings → Event Customization
Per-language name, description, images, and SEO slugs — same pattern as challenges.
Distances #
Define race distances (5K, marathon, etc.), caps, and team eligibility per distance.
In-person races link distances to tickets.
Sports (virtual competitions) #
Accepted GPS sports and primary sport type — Competition sports settings.
Minimum distance per submission and validation rules: Reviewing virtual workouts.
Teams #
Path: Settings → Teams
Enable team registration; participant-created vs organizer-defined teams.
Club teams (in-person) #
Path: Settings → Club teams
Pick which club-level teams appear at registration. Option to restrict to club members' private teams only.
Per-distance teams #
Assign team categories to specific distances (relay teams, corporate cups).
Groups #
Age/gender groups per distance for standings and start lists.
