# Reserved entries

**Reserved entries** let organizers invite specific people to register with pre-defined conditions — free entry, fixed price, hidden from public listing, or manual approval.

## Create a reserved entry

1. Reserved entries → **Create**
2. Set title, linked ticket/distance, price override (or free)
3. Options:
   - **Free registration** — skip payment fields at checkout
   - **Manual registration** — organizer confirms before start list
   - **Hidden** — only accessible via direct link
4. Save and copy the **registration link** to send to the participant

## Participant experience

The participant opens the link, fills a shortened form, and completes checkout (or registers free). The cart is tied to the reserved entry for tracking.

## Manage entries

Reserved entry detail shows linked carts, payment status, and participants. Edit or deactivate entries when full.

## Bulk register or remove (in-person)

On **in-person races only** (not virtual competitions), the reserved entry detail page lists participants with checkboxes:

| Action | Effect |
|--------|--------|
| **Register all** | Moves **selected** entries that are not yet registered to **registered** status on the start list |
| **Remove all** | Withdraws **selected** entries that are already **registered** |

You must tick one or more rows before running a bulk action. Actions only affect the checked participants.

Use after importing partner lists or correcting a batch of manual entries — for example when **Manual registration** was enabled and you need to confirm many entries at once.

Individual **Register** / **Remove** row actions work on single participants without selecting checkboxes.

**Ticket-race** formats show sold tickets instead of a start-list table; bulk register/remove applies to the underlying racer records the same way.

::: warning Virtual competitions
Reserved entries are not available for virtual races. Create reserved entries only on in-person ticket or standard race formats.

## Export participants or tickets

**Export** on the reserved entry detail generates:

- **Participant export** — spreadsheet of racers linked to this reserved entry
- **Ticket export** — for ticket-race formats
