# Participant event reviews

After an event, participants can leave a **star rating** (1–5) and written review.

## Review list

Each row shows rating, review text, participant name, and submission date. Filter by rating or search text.

## Use feedback

- Identify registration or race-day pain points
- Follow up with low ratings via [Marketing](marketing-to-participants.md)
- Share testimonials (with permission) on club pages

## Reply to a review

On the review list or competition dashboard widget:

1. Open a review without a response
2. Write your **public reply** in the response field
3. Submit — DistantRace emails the participant that you responded

You can **delete** a reply later if needed. Replies appear publicly next to the participant's review.

Reviews are separate from [virtual workout validation](reviewing-virtual-workouts.md) — they measure satisfaction, not GPS quality.
