# Your profile and participant profiles

Your DistantRace **account** holds login details, connected apps, and **saved participant profiles** used when registering for events.

## Account basics

- Profile name and photo — edit on **Profile**
- Connected sports apps — [Connections](../connections-with-apps/supported-apps.md) (`/accounts/social/`)

::: tip One account everywhere
Use the same login on phone and computer. Multiple accounts are a common cause of missing activities and registrations.

## Saved participant profiles

When logged in during checkout, the **Participant menu** lists people you registered before (yourself, family members, club members). Pick a saved profile to auto-fill name, birth date, and contact fields.

Create new participant profiles by completing a registration — they are saved for next time.

## Sub-accounts

Registering on behalf of someone else adds them as a participant under your payer account. Manage saved profiles (create, edit, unlink, delete) on the **Participants** page — [Managing saved participant profiles](managing-saved-participant-profiles.md).
