# Withdraw from an event

You can withdraw from many challenges and some competitions from the registration page.

## Challenges

1. Open the challenge page while logged in.
2. Open the **Register** / apply dialog (or apply page).
3. Use the **Withdraw** or **Quit** action.
4. Confirm — you are removed from the participant list.

**Alternative:** Profile → **My clubs** → **Leave club** for a given club lists the active challenges and competitions in that club — withdraw each entry before completing leave. See [Club membership](club-membership.md).

If you enrolled in **multiple distances**, withdrawing removes all your entries for that challenge.

## Virtual and in-person competitions

Competitions with ticket purchases may not offer self-service withdraw from the event page. Use **My clubs → Leave club** to withdraw individual competition entries when the club lists them, or contact the organizer — refund rules depend on their policy.

## After withdrawing

- Your past synced activities may remain in your account but no longer count toward the event.
- You can usually register again unless the registration window closed.
