# Virtual map progress

Challenges with a **virtual map** show collective progress along a GPX route — like walking a virtual trail together.

## View the map

Open the challenge **Results** or **Map** tab on the public event page. Your avatar or team marker moves as distance/steps accumulate.

## Individual vs team progress

- **Individual challenges** — your own progress along the path
- **Team challenges** — combined team distance determines marker position

## Milestones
