# Viewing your race result

Each published finisher has an individual **result detail** page with time, status, and optional map and diploma.

## Open your result

1. Go to the competition on the public site.
2. Open **Results** and find your name, or use the link from a result notification email.
3. Click your row to open the **result detail** page.

From [My competition registrations](my-competition-registrations.md) you can jump to the competition, then find your result in the list.

## What the page shows

| Section | Content |
|---------|---------|
| **Time** | Chip time, gun time, or virtual GPS time |
| **Status** | Finished, DNF, DNS, DSQ |
| **Distance / category** | Which distance and group you competed in |
| **Map** | GPS route for virtual results or GPS-tracked in-person races |
| **Splits / laps** | Intermediate times on multi-lap courses |
| **Nearby finishers** | Athletes who finished close to your time |
| **Diploma** | Finisher image when generated — [Downloading diplomas](downloading-diplomas-and-certificates.md) |
| **Share** | Link for social sharing (share mode may hide some details) |

## Virtual races

Your result appears after you [submit a workout](selecting-your-virtual-race-workout.md). Until then the results list may show you as registered without a time.

## Privacy

If you [anonymized your name](viewing-the-start-list.md) on the start list, the public result may still show your time depending on organizer settings. Contact the [organizer](contact-the-organizer.md) for privacy requests.
