# Comparing virtual race results

Virtual competitions may offer **route comparison** — overlay your GPS track with another participant's on the same course.

## Open compare view

From the public **Results** page, select two finishers and choose **Compare** (when enabled by the organizer).

## What you see

- Map with both tracks overlaid
- Distance and time at key segments
- Useful for virtual relays and club training events

Requires both participants to have submitted valid GPS activities — see [Reviewing virtual workouts](../running-events/reviewing-virtual-workouts.md).
