# Importing timing results

Upload or sync finish times from external **timing providers** into DistantRace.

**Path:** Competition → **Results → Import**

## Supported providers

DistantRace integrates with common timing systems, including:

- RFID Race Timing (rfidtiming.com)
- Race Result (raceresult.com)
- MyLaps (mylaps.com)
- ALGE-TIMING (alge-timing.com)
- SkiAlp-Pro / VOLA
- RunScore

## File import

1. Export results from your timing software in the supported format.
2. Open **Results → Import → File**.
3. Upload the file and map distances if prompted.
4. Review imported times on the results page before publishing.

## URL sync

**Results → Import → URL sync** pulls results automatically from a timing service URL on a schedule. Configure the URL and sync interval per provider documentation.

## Manual corrections

After import, edit individual results (DNF, DNS, time corrections) from the results detail view.

## CSV participant import

For bulk participant and result data, use the competition **Importer** tool (separate from timing import).
