# Geo location restrictions

Sports challenges can require activities to occur inside (or outside) defined **map areas**.

**Path:** Settings → Location of workouts

## Create areas

Draw **allowed** or **forbidden** polygons or lines on the map. Give each area a title.

## Effect on results

Workouts outside allowed regions (or inside forbidden ones) are rejected by challenge rules. Participants see the reason on their activity detail.

## Use cases

- Company campus step/workout events
- City-limited charity runs
- Excluding treadmill segments when outdoor GPS is required
