# Accepting a club admin invitation

Club owners invite teammates by email. Invitees accept through a link and gain access to the manager console.

## Receive the invitation

An administrator sends the invite from **Club → Members → Invite** — see [Club settings and admins](club-settings-and-admins.md).

The email contains a link to:

`/console/invite/<invite-code>/`

## Accept the invitation

1. Open the link from the email
2. **Sign in** to DistantRace (or create an account if you are new)
3. Review which club invited you and the access level (Administrator, Finance, Support, or Ticket scan)
4. Click **Accept**

You are redirected to that club's manager console home page.

## Access levels

| Role | What you can do |
|------|-----------------|
| **Administrator** | Full organizer console |
| **Finance** | Payments, invoices, orders — no operational event editing |
| **Support team** | Start lists, results, participants — no financial summaries |
| **Ticket scan** | Mobile app scanning only |

## Troubleshooting

| Issue | Fix |
|-------|-----|
| Link says sign in required | Log in with the same email the invite was sent to |
| Invitation not found | Ask the club admin to resend from **Club → Members** |
| Wrong permissions after accepting | Club admin can change your role on the Members page |

## For club administrators

- **Resend** — pending invites can be resent from the Members table
- **Delete invitation** — revoke a pending invite before it is accepted
- **Remove member** — revoke access after acceptance
