# Standings and rankings

**Standings** aggregate finisher results into overall, age-group, gender, and team rankings.

**Path:** Open competition → **Standings**

## Standing types

DistantRace computes standings per distance:

- Overall (all finishers)
- Age groups (from competition group settings)
- Gender categories
- Team standings (when teams are enabled)

## Manager view

Select distance and standing type. The table shows rank, participant, time, and group. Export top 20 or full standings to Excel.

## Public page

Published standings appear on the event's public results page. Customize columns in [Customizing results tables](../running-events/customizing-results-tables.md).

## After results change

Standings recalculate when results are added or edited. Re-importing timing data may require a refresh before publishing.
