# Publishing results

Results can exist in draft after import before you publish them to the public results page.

## Before publishing

1. [Import](../running-events/importing-timing-results.md) or [enter](managing-race-results.md) all finish times
2. Review [standings](standings-and-rankings.md) for obvious errors
3. Configure [results table columns](../running-events/customizing-results-tables.md)

## Publish

From the competition results or standings view, enable publication (exact control depends on event settings — results may auto-publish on import or require manual publish).

When published:

- Public results and standings pages update
- Embedded iframes show new data
- Result emails send if [email templates](../integrations/email-templates-and-export.md) are configured
- Published [diplomas](diplomas-and-finisher-documents.md) become downloadable for finishers with a PPTX template uploaded

## Unpublish or correct

Edit individual results after publishing — standings recalculate. For major corrections, import a corrected file and re-review before notifying participants.
