# Exporting results data

Beyond editing individual finishers, the competition **Results** list can export data for timing partners, federations, archives, and press.

## Spreadsheet export (XLSX)

**Export XLSX** generates a full results workbook — finisher names, times, status, distance, and columns visible in the manager table.

The file is prepared asynchronously and appears under [Organizer documents](../more-tools/organizer-documents.md) when ready.

## JSON-LD export (OADM)

**Export JSON-LD** produces structured open-data style output for federation feeds or external result systems.

Use when a partner requests machine-readable results instead of Excel.

## PDF reports

From the results actions menu, generate printable PDFs:

| Report | Content |
|--------|---------|
| Overall results | Full list or top 20 |
| By gender | Men / women tables |
| By distance | Per-distance finish lists |
| Progressive / most active | Specialty rankings when configured |
| Team results | Team scores (top 20 optional) |
| Standings | Series points, groups, gender splits |

When the competition has **series standings** configured, additional standings PDF variants appear.

## Custom club PDFs

Some clubs have **custom PDF layouts** stored in their organizer export folder. These appear as extra export buttons on the results page.

## Start list exports

Participant exports (full start list, per distance, marketing contacts) live on **Start list**, not Results — [Managing the start list](../running-events/managing-the-start-list.md).
