# SMS Server Tools

**DistantRace SMS Server Tools** integration connects a self-hosted SMS gateway compatible with the SMS Server Tools API. Use it as **primary or backup** alongside Twilio or Text2Reach.

## Connect

1. Deploy your SMS Server Tools instance (or use DistantRace-hosted tools if provided).
2. Club settings → **Integrations** → **SMS Server Tools** → **Connect**.
3. Enter the server **URL**, credentials, and **Primary/Backup** priority.
4. Save and verify the connection test passes.
