# Email templates and export

The **Marketing** module lets you customize emails participants receive and export contact lists for external tools.

**Path:** Manager console → **Marketing** → Email templates

Requires a connected email provider: [SendGrid](sendgrid.md) or [Listmonk](listmonk.md).

## Template kinds

| Kind | When sent |
|------|-----------|
| **Marketing** | Campaign emails you trigger manually |
| **Registration** | After successful registration |
| **Registration cart** | Cart / checkout confirmation |
| **Registration participant** | Per-participant registration details |
| **Result** | When results are published (if configured) |
| **Join code** | Join code invitation emails |
| **Login code** | App login verification codes |

## Create a template

1. Marketing → Email templates → **Create template**
2. Choose **kind**, **language**, subject, and HTML body
3. Use template variables (participant name, event name, join link, etc.) — **Preview** on the edit page shows rendered HTML with sample data
4. Optional: **Add registration QR codes** for join-code templates
5. **Send test** to your email before going live

## Per-event templates

Templates can be scoped to a specific event or used club-wide. Event-specific templates override defaults for that event.

## Export participants

Marketing → **Export** lets you download participant emails and fields for use in Listmonk, Omnisend, or spreadsheets.

Filter by event, registration status, or marketing consent.
